Press release
Biebertal – December 12 2024 – Meyer Optik Görlitz releases all previous lenses (except Biotar 75 II) with native R-mount. The new versions can now be ordered.
In the past, we have repeatedly received inquiries from people interested in Meyer Optik who requested R-versions of our lenses. This camera system, which is appreciated by many but has been discontinued since 2009, is still very popular and ensures a lively second-hand market,” says Marco Pfeiffer, Managing Director of Meyer Optik Görlitz. “The range of lenses available for these cameras is very limited and unfortunately it is often not possible to adapt other popular lenses (e.g. M42 or C-EF) to R cameras due to the respective flange focal distances. Due to this fact, we have decided to offer our lenses with a native R-mount and hope to be able to give everyone who shoots with the R-system a pre-Christmas present.
Wide range of mounts Every lens from Meyer Optik Görlitz is available for at least 11, most even for 12, mounts. Only a few manufacturers take the extra effort involved in producing native versions for so many camera systems. Meyer Optik Görlitz takes this unconventional approach in order to make the use of the lenses as convenient as possible.
Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses can be purchased at https://www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com/en/lenses/ and are available from well-stocked specialist photo retailers. Incoming orders will be processed one after the other. There could be delivery delays during the upcoming Christmas holidays.
What's next? Completely new lenses are currently being planned / developed and will be released during next year. It remains exciting at Meyer Optik Görlitz.

                  Press release
Bad Kreuznach, Germany - August 31st, 2023 - Meyer Optik Görlitz releases the Biotar 75 f1.5 II, a new edition of the world-famous lens that has been announced for some time and expands its existing portfolio of high-quality character lenses with one of the most sought-after bokeh lenses in the world. The Biotar 75 II is available now and can be purchased directly from the manufacturer & from well-stocked photo retailers.
"We are very excited to be able to bring this wonderful lens to market, after some unforeseen circumstances that have caused several delays," said Marco Pfeiffer, Managing Director Meyer Optik / OPC Optics. "Already the start of the Biotar series with the 58mm f1.5 II was very successful, and we expect our Biotar 75 f1.5 II to exceed this success by far again."
About the Biotar 75 In the 1930s, ingenious designer Willi Merté developed the original Biotar 75 f1.5, and in no time at all the lens gained a legendary reputation and achieved great success. However, due to World War II and the high production costs for that time, the production of the popular Biotar 75 was discontinued quite soon. Its great popularity and the simultaneous small number of well-preserved units, make the Biotar 75 an extremely rare lens. A look at the optical construction of the new Biotar 75 f1.5 II reveals directly that it is again a Double-Gauss-lens with 6 lenses in 4 groups.
What does the Biotar 75 f1.5 II stand for? The high image sharpness in the center, coupled with a strong swirly bokeh at open aperture, are the legendary imaging characteristics of the Biotar 75 f1.5 II. In swirly bokeh, highlights in the background are rendered circular and appear as if they are being pulled into a vortex. The sharpness in the center of the image and the wonderfully drawn bokeh in the blur give the subject a slightly three-dimensional feel. At the same time, the overall image appears somewhat delicate, which can create a great contrast in available light situations with clear shadows and highlights in the background. Capturing the historic imaging capabilities of the original Biotar 75 while optimizing the lens using the latest technologies was the main goal in redesigning our Biotar 75 f1.5 II. Thus, after intensive analysis and development, as well as several prototype tests, the best optical glass, a special AR coating and high-precision manufactured mechanical components are used.
A sharpness & contrast monster when stopped down Even minimally stopped down (from f2.0), the Biotar 75 f1.5 II shows even more contrast, and between f/5.6 and f/8, the Biotar 75 f1.5 II reaches its maximum sharpness. In this respect, it makes many comparatively 'young' lenses look very old. Likewise, the color reproduction of the lens is very harmonious and balanced. Due to its almost apochromatic construction, there are no lateral chromatic aberrations, for example. Many photographers rave about the Biotar 75 f1.5 II and its capabilities that, going beyond portrait photography, can also be used perfectly in landscape and nature photography. Likewise, many wonderful fashion, sport, wedding, architecture and even macro shots are created with the Biotar 75 f1.5 II.
Top level mechanical design The mechanical construction, which is based on the same principle as the previous new editions from Meyer Optik, offers an extremely pleasant feel, the value of which is immediately noticeable at first touch. The mechanical quality at the very highest level makes the Biotar 75 II, like its historical prototype, a lens for the ages. Compared to its various historical models (there were 3 different Biotar 75), the stepless & silent diaphragm is now composed of 15 steel blades and contributes to a particularly beautiful bokeh. Of course, as with all Meyer lenses, the mechanics of this lens series were sourced from established German precision engineering companies. The color scheme already introduced on the Biotar 58 II (natural anodized with black anodized accents), has of course been retained on the Biotar 75 II. Like all Meyer lenses, the Biotar 75 f1.5 II is assembled in the company's own factory in the heart of Hamburg, using the most precise handwork.

                  Press release
Bad Kreuznach, Germany - September 07th, 2022 – Meyer Optik Görlitz releases the Biotar 58 f1.5 II, the long-awaited new edition of the world famous lens and adds another unique imaging style to its existing portfolio, of high quality character lenses. The Biotar 58 II is available now and can be purchased directly from the manufacturer & from well-stocked photo retailers.
“After several delays simply due to the current unforeseeable circumstances, we are extremely pleased to welcome this very exciting lens to our family and introduce it to the public,” says Timo Heinze, Managing Director Meyer Optik / OPC Optics. “Even though the Biotar is not a classic Meyer lens, it fits perfectly into our portfolio of creative tools, with unique characteristics. Nevertheless, to honor its foreign origin, we decided to manufacture it with a Biotar-exclusive coloring.”
About Biotar 58 Originally, the Biotar 58, among other focal lengths and versions, was designed by the ingenious optical designer Willi Merté. After its launch in the mid-1930s, it was offered for about 25 years, making it the longest and best-selling Biotar in that series to date. The new version of that extremely popular, highly versatile lens also delivers its incomparable charm and comes up with excellent imaging characteristics as the Biotar 58 f1.5 II. With the help of the Görlitz-based designer, Dr.-Ing. Wolf-Dieter Prenzel, the new edition of the Biotar 58 has been significantly improved in terms of light intensity, image sharpness and contrast behavior, and the wonderful characteristics of the original Biotar 58 have been transferred to the new version of this classic lens.
What makes the Biotar 58 f1.5 II stand out? Biotars have always been appreciated for their wonderful bokeh options, a creamy image look, particularly harmonious focus gradients and good sharpness performance. In the out-of-focus area, with the right setting, a swirl of light circles can be created (also called ‘Swirly-Bokeh’), which particularly emphasizes the focused main subject. The captured light points near the center of the image appear circular and take on a more elliptical shape toward the edge of the image (also called ‘cat eyes’). The Biotar 58 f1.5 II is already characterized by high image sharpness at open aperture and at the same time delivers the beautiful effects in the out-of-focus area of the image. It also impresses in difficult lighting situations - the Biotar 58 II produces little to no color fringing even in strong backlighting and with an open aperture, and still achieves excellent results even in low light situations thanks to its speed. The targeted use of the effects, the many design options and the high sharpness make the Biotar 58 II the perfect choice for many different genres of photography and videography.
The fastest and sharpest Biotar 58 ever In the course of redesigning the Biotar 58 and optimizing its optical system, the initial aperture of the lens has been increased from the original f2 to f1.5. There has never been a faster Biotar 58 and at the same time the Biotar 58 f1.5 II now represents the ‘fastest’ lens in Meyer Optik Görlitz’s portfolio. In addition to the higher speed, the Biotar 58 II, through various optimizations of the optical system, achieves a sharpness that its predecessors could not reach. This high sharpness or extreme resolution is a particularly noteworthy advantage for close-up and portrait photography.
Well-proven mechanical design and optimized aperture For the Biotar 58 f1.5 II, the proven mechanics of the previous new editions were used and the individual optical elements were thus combined in a well-proven, highly precise and durable mechanical system. Compared to the original Biotar 58 lenses, 14 steel blades now form the stepless & silently adjustable aperture of the new edition. The circular aperture is particularly noticeable in the bokeh of the image and draws more harmonious points of light than its historical predecessors. All mechanics were, as with all Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses, sourced from renowned German precision mechanics manufacturers and were produced to the highest quality. The aluminum- / natural-colored anodizing used for the Biotars is intended to represent a connection to the historical origin and offers an excellent feel as well as a precious appearance at the same time.
The Biotar 58 f1.5 II, as well as all other Meyer lenses released to date, can be purchased at www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com.
What follows? Series production of the Biotar 75 f1.5 II has also begun and is expected to take until the end of the year. In addition, new lenses are in planning / development and will be released in the foreseeable future.

Bad Kreuznach, Germany - July 19, 2022 – Meyer Optik Görlitz presents native versions for Nikon Z and Canon RF of the lenses released to date - Primoplan 58 f1.9 II, Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, Lydith 30 f3.5 II, and Trioplan 50 f2.8 II. The lenses are available in stock and can be ordered as of now.
"The successful launch of Trioplan 100 f2.8 II and Trioplan 35 f2.8 II as native Nikon Z and Canon RF versions has shown us, that there is a great demand for native Z and RF versions of our lenses, despite their very good adaptability," says Timo Heinze, Managing Director Meyer Optik / OPC Optics. "After an intensive preparation phase, which took quite a bit longer than usual due to the extremely volatile economic situation (capacity bottlenecks, lack of resources, extreme price & availability fluctuations for raw materials, etc.), we are now especially happy about the completion of the new versions of our lenses."
The lenses Primoplan 58 f1.9 II, Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, Lydith 30 f3.5 II and Trioplan 50 f2.8 II can now be ordered, for the first time also for Nikon Z and Canon RF, at www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com.
What are the next steps? The Biotar 58 f1.5 II currently in final production steps is expected to be released within the next 4 weeks. Series production of the Biotar 75 f1.5 II was started in parallel, but the current situation has led to considerable delays in that project, so that a release before the end of September is not to be expected here. For both lenses, the preceding prototype tests have created a particularly high level of anticipation, as the results surpass the historical originals while retaining the popular image styles. In addition, new lenses are in planning / development and will be released early next year.

Popular Trioplan style in a wider-angle
High optical & mechanical quality for that Meyer is known for
Available for order now
What follows?

Bad Kreuznach – 27th January 2022 – with the Trioplan 35 f2.8 II Meyer Optik Görlitz releases the third focal length of the famous Trioplan series. As of today - the sixth lens from Meyer Optik Görlitz can be ordered in the usual Meyer Optik mount versions.
"We are very pleased to now be able to introduce the Trioplan 35 II and are starting very positively into a new and hopefully more normal, year," said Timo Heinze, Managing Director OPC Optics. "After we started with our new manufactory in Hamburg last quarter, the Trioplan 35 II is the first lens that will be manufactured there from the beginning."
Popular Trioplan imaging language in the wide-angle range The Trioplan 35 f2.8 II brings the famous Trioplan bokeh, also known as soap bubble bokeh, to the wide-angle range. This allows amazing effects to be created, especially at open aperture, giving your own images an individual artistic style and recognition value. Of course, when stopped down, the Trioplan 35 f2.8 II can also create quieter, particularly atmospheric images, flattering the main subject with a very softly drawn blur plane that almost looks painted. The compact 35mm focal length is of course perfect for use in reportage and street photography. At the same time, the short minimum object distance of 0.2 meters, despite the short focal length, allows it to be used in nature and portrait photography. Thus, the Trioplan 35 f2.8 II offers a high degree of versatility and a great deal of creative freedom.
High optical & mechanical quality for that Meyer is known for The consistent implementation of the newly developed mechanical design, which all current lenses from Meyer Optik Görlitz have received, has of course also been continued in for new Trioplan 35 f2.8 II. The mechanical components from German manufacturers, the use of the best optical glass, which receives a specially developed coating and is manufactured in-house, the assembly by hand in our own factory and the individual testing of each lens, ensure the high quality & durability that distinguishes the lenses from Meyer Optik Görlitz.
Available for order now Given the current circumstances (Corona, shortage of raw materials, etc.) and to be able to supply the desired lenses asap to as many customers as possible, the new Trioplan 35 II lenses are finalized based on the incoming orders. This means: The lenses are prepared as far as possible already and will finally be assembled to a definite version (e.g. Nikon F, Canon EF, Sony E, etc.) when a concrete order is placed. Although this results in a slightly longer delivery time (approx. three weeks from the order date), over/under production is avoided and thus demand can be fulfilled more precisely.
The Trioplan 35 II can be ordered now, for the first time also as a native version for Nikon Z and Canon RF, at https://www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com/en/lenses/trioplan-35-f2.8-ii.
What follows? Two true classics, the Biotar 58 f1.5 II and the Biotar 75 f1.5 II, are currently in series production and will expand the portfolio in this spring. Likewise, the other existing lenses will be successively expanded to include variants for Nikon Z and Canon RF. In parallel, new lenses are in planning / development and will be released later this year.

What follows?

Bad Kreuznach / Hamburg – 16th November 2021 – Meyer Optik Görlitz opens new location, including visitable manufactory in the heart of Hamburg.
"With the successful launches of the current lenses and the foundation of Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH this year, we have built the basis for Meyer Optik's future" says Timo Heinze, Managing Director Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH. "Until now, our lenses were assembled by a partner company in Hamburg. Although this was done to our complete satisfaction, it was our goal from the very beginning to handle this important part of the lens manufacturing process ourselves. So, we chose the Hamburg as location because, in addition to the assembling-process, we can also take on personnel from the previous partner company and thus have access to existing experience and expertise. At the same time, Hamburg offers many sights for photography, as well as very good travelling options, making a visit to Meyer Optik even more attractive."
The new location in detail The new lens manufactory of Meyer Optik Görlitz is in the Rothenburgsort district of Hamburg, close to HafenCity district. In the listed buildings of the so-called “Brandshof”, built in 1928, the manufactory of the traditional lens company finds an equally historic home. Like Meyer Optik itself, the location on the “Brandshofer Deich” will have a link to modernity with the Elbtower planned on the opposite bank. The connection to photography is already given by the many sights in the direct vicinity, e.g., the “Oberhafenbrücke”, the headland at “Billhafen”, many other buildings suitable as motifs, and not least by the “Haus der Photographie”, which is within walking distance. Furthermore, the entire area will be further revised soon and become an absolute sight of Hamburg.
Visitors are welcome With the start of the new manufactory there is the possibility to visit the production of Meyer Optik lenses. An official opening ceremony will be held as soon as the Corona situation allows it within a responsible framework. Until further notice, a visit to the workshop requires a prior appointment request to make appropriate arrangements. In principle, interested parties can watch the handcrafted lenses being made and see for themselves how the lenses are produced. The glass lenses, produced using state-of-the-art processes, will continue to be delivered to the new workshop in the Hanseatic city by Meyer Optik's sister company, OPC Optics, based in Bad Kreuznach. Likewise, the mechanical components will continue to be manufactured by well-known precision engineering companies in Germany.
What follows? Over the course of the next year, a showroom will be created in the same building, where workshops and in-house events can be held in addition to exhibiting photographs. Meyer Optik's portfolio will be expanded this year to include the Trioplan 35 f2.8 II, which is currently in production, and variants of the Trioplan 100 II for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Nikon Z and Canon RF mounts. These will be followed by the Biotar 58 f1.5 II and Biotar f1.5 75 II, which are currently in the prototype phase.

New foundation as independent company
What will change?
The next steps

Bad Kreuznach – 05th August 2021 – Meyer Optik Görlitz, until now a brand name only, is operating as an independent company with immediate effect, thus manifesting its basis for future developments.
"After almost 3 years of hard and intensive work, we are very happy to have laid the foundation for an independent Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH and to be able to put it on its own feet" says Timo Heinze, Managing Director of the new Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH. "After we, under the umbrella of OPC Optics, developed the brand's portfolio and established sales structures, the time has now come for Meyer Optik Görlitz to step out of the shadows as a 'real' company and operate independently on the market."
New foundation as a company At the end of 2018, OPC Optics took over the "Meyer Optik Görlitz" brand and has since completely rebuilt the entire structure, including the portfolio. The consequence of this is now the new Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH, based in Bad Kreuznach. "I would particularly like to emphasize that the foundation fits perfectly into the anniversary year of Meyer Optik and that, 125 years after the initial foundation, we can now breathe even more life and substance into the whole thing," explains Timo Heinze.
What will change? There will be virtually no noticeable differences in the operational business. The existing contact persons will continue to be available to customers and suppliers. Internal synergies, such as lens production by OPC Optics and Pfeiffer Präzisionsoptik, will of course also be retained and will continue to ensure the best possible quality of Meyer Optik products in the future. Meyer Optik Görlitz GmbH will operate independently, alongside its sister companies OPC Optics GmbH and PPO Pfeiffer Präzisionsoptik GmbH and under the umbrella of a common parent company. The transition to organizational and administrative independence is to be completed by the end of the year.
The next steps The Trioplan 35 II, Biotar 58 II and Biotar 75 II are expected to be released in the fourth quarter, expanding the portfolio of lenses with classic models. Likewise, other new products are already in the works, so more new launches can be expected next year.

The prizes

Bad Kreuznach – 07th April 2021 – Meyer Optik Görlitz has launched its own photo competition. Until the end of May, participants can submit photographs taken with lenses from the Meyer universe and win attractive prizes. The winners will be announced at the end of June.
"We honor the history and tradition of Meyer Optik Görlitz and are pleased to start a first project, apart from the new lenses we are launching, in the context of the 125th anniversary with our photo contest," says Timo Heinze, Managing Director OPC Optics (owner of Meyer Optik Görlitz). "The initial foundation of Meyer Optik Görlitz (at that time as "Optisch-Mechanische Industrie-Anstalt Hugo Meyer & Co.") dates back to 01st April 1896. In the thus now more than 125 years there were many events and developments, that strongly influenced the company and partly made it disappear for some time. This year, in addition to the photo competition, there will also be one or two further actions or projects that will continue to fill Meyer Optik Görlitz with life again - so it remains exciting."
The photo contest in detail As of today, interested parties can register for the anniversary competition at www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com and submit their photographs. Apart from the anniversary, the competition has no special motto, so there are no limits to your creativity. The only requirement is that the photos must have been taken with lenses from the Meyer universe (Meyer historical, Pentacon, Meyer from 2014, Meyer from 2019). Multiple participation (max. 3 photographs per participant) is permitted. The best rated photograph will then be admitted to the final placement, so that each participant can only receive one placement.
What is the judging procedure? After the closing date (31st May 2021), a first rough pre-selection by Meyer Optik will take place to release the photos for a public evaluation, from 07th - 21st June. The voting-website will be announced after the closing date. The community-votes will be weighted more heavily (55%) than those of the Meyer Optik Jury (45%). The results of Meyer Optik's first photo contest will be announced at the end of June.
The prizes The winner of the competition will receive three lenses from the current Meyer Optik portfolio (free choice), as well as prize money of 300 euros. The second-place winner will receive two Meyer Optik lenses of their choice, plus 200 euros in prize money, and the third-place winner will receive one Meyer Optik lens of their choice, plus 100 euros in prize money. Places 4-15 will receive vouchers of varying values (detailed overview at www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com). In addition, the top 15 will receive their respective photograph as a large-format Fine-Art-print. Thus, prizes with a total value of approx. 9,000 euros will be awarded.

Continuation of the Primoplan series
Primoplan imaging language paired with optimal performance

What are the next steps?

Bad Kreuznach – 12th March 2021 – Meyer Optik Görlitz is expanding its Primoplan portfolio with the Primoplan 58 f1.9 II. In addition to the very successful Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, the second lens in this series is now available in the usual Meyer Optik mount versions.
"With great pleasure we now present, after intensive and accurate work, the new Primoplan 58 II“, says Timo Heinze, Managing Director of OPC Optics. „About 85 years after the first Primoplan 58, we now offer a lens that has the characteristics and image-language of the historical original, while being manufactured using the most modern production processes and the best materials. Thus, photographers can get a perfect Primoplan 58 II with all the wonderful features that make and have made it so popular."
Continuation of the Primoplan series Following the very successful launch of the new Primoplan 75 II last quarter, the new Primoplan 58 II adds another legendary lens to Meyer Optik Görlitz's current range. The Primoplan 58 II brings the popular features of Primoplan-photography to a more "normal" focal length, making it even more versatile than the 75mm version.
Primoplan imaging language paired with optimal performance The new Primoplan 58 II offers, through the consistent orientation on the original from 1936, exactly the imaging characteristics that have always made it so desirable. With an even further improved optical design, the new Primoplan 58 II delivers the best possible contrast and high image sharpness. At the same time, many bokeh variations - from classic bubble bokeh, to swirly bokeh, to very soft / creamy bokeh – can be created with the Primoplan 58 II. By combining the effects, versatile options are available. Also, the Primoplan 58 II delivers very good results, even in difficult lighting conditions, due to its speed of 1:1.9.
Lens mechanics in established design style The design of the Primoplan 58 II follows the previous new editions from OPC Optics. So once again the lens received a stepless, damped, aperture & focus mechanism and can be used silently. As with all current Meyer-Optik lenses, the lens mechanics are produced by renowned German manufacturers in order to meet the high quality standards. In this way, an optimal interaction of the mechanical individual parts, a perfect feel and the longevity of the lenses are guaranteed.
What are the next steps? Trioplan 35 II will expand the portfolio of Meyer Optik Görlitz this year. In addition, new versions of the famous Biotars are currently being developed in various focal lengths. As well as versions of the existing lenses for the latest camera mounts (Canon R and Nikon Z). The exact dates of those releases are difficult to specify due to the current situation, but will definitely all be in the second half of this year.
Photos taken with the new lenses and further information are available at www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com/en/.

Return of a legendary lens
The unique aspects in Primoplan photography
Highest mechanical quality and perfect haptics
What are the future plans?

Bad Kreuznach – 30. November 2020 – with Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, a true legend returns to the portfolio of Meyer Optik Görlitz today. Following the successful releases of Trioplan 100 f2.8 II, Trioplan 50 f2.8 II and Lydith 30 f3.5 II, this new lens heralds the start of the Primoplan series.
"We are very pleased to be able to release an absolute smash hit with the Primoplan 75 f1.9 II despite the currently tense situation. Primoplan 75 has always been one of the most sought-after and at the same time rarest lenses from Meyer Optik Görlitz", says Timo Heinze, Managing Director OPC Optics. "After it was discontinued in the middle/end of the 1950s, probably for political reasons and/or in favor of a market companion from Jena, Primoplan lenses that can be found today are traded at horrendous prices. With our new edition, we now offer the option to get a new, technically perfect, Primoplan 75 at a reasonable pricing.
The unique aspects in Primoplan photography Primoplans from Meyer Optik Görlitz stand out for their versatile bokeh, sharpness and their speed. Particularly the smooth transitions from sharpness to fuzziness are outstanding. Since focused areas are very harmoniously set off from the out of focus areas, Primoplan photographs are given a plastic appearance and motifs appear slightly exposed. The creative options in image composition are endless. Thus, the famous soapbubble bokeh as well as a swirly bokeh can be created, depending on the shooting situation. The combination of both or also different sized bubbles in the foreground and background of the image, are only a few of the creative tools that are given to the photographer.
The Primoplan 75 f1.9 II is ideal for portrait photography, as its gentle yet fine resolution gives every portrait a unique charisma. Of course, the Primoplan 75 f1.9 II can also show off its strengths in other genres, e.g. nature photography, where it also produces stunning pictures. The focal length of 75 mm provides a natural angle of view and does not compress as much as longer focal lengths.
Highest mechanical quality and perfect haptics The new Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, like the three previous new editions, offers uncompromising quality and mechanical perfection. The lenses are entirely made of metal and are individually assembled by hand, calibrated, and tested to ensure a perfect product.
„Besides the optical elements manufactured by us, we cooperate with well-known manufacturers in Germany for the mechanics of our lenses. Alongside the highest quality, we consciously commit ourselves to sustainability and fair working conditions and wrap the unique imaging characteristics of our lenses in what we believe to be the best possible housing”, explained Timo Heinze. “We follow this high standard down to the very last detail and underline the value of Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses. In example, we anodize and glass-bead-blast the surfaces of our lenses instead of just painting them. Furthermore, we engrave the parts mechanically and color them afterwards - in contrast to do a simple laser engraving.”
The new Primoplan 75 f1.9 II, like the three previous new Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses, comes with a stepless, damped, aperture and can thus be used completely silent.
What are the future plans? Serial production of Primoplan 58 f1.9 II will be completed in about 4 weeks and the lens is scheduled for mid of January. Further lenses are already being planned and will expand the range over the coming year.
